We are so thankful for the new lettering placed on the District Office building today. Hopefully visitors and community members can locate the building on Main Street with no problem now.
SkillsUSA annual strawberry sale begins today through February 23. Delivery will be the week of March 4. The cost will be $15.00 for ½ flat and $25.00 for a whole flat. Please see a SkillsUSA student or you can call CCCTC at 662-285-4152 or Mr. Robert Black at 662-285-7857.
Culinary Arts students will be featured in an art showcase at the Ackerman Public Library. They are serving a variety of appetizers. They will join other art students in the district. The event takes place at 6 pm today!
Work based learning skill check offs with industry: Healthcare and Clinical Services students demonstrating patient height, weight, and proper patient positions for examinations with Mrs. Dena Kelly from Gentiva Hospice.
Mr. Berry's Ag Power and Machinery Classes have been working on various projects this week. The students also built benches that are for sale. There are only two benches left, and they will be $200 each. Please contact our office at 662-285-4152 if you are interested.
Mr. Black's Construction/Carpentry classes have been working on blueprint skills and building a miniature house framing kit, with walls and rafters. While doing this, the students are learning different terms and dimensions with parts of the roof and walls.

Mr. Black's SkillsUSA students are preparing for state competition on February 2. Justin Fulgham will compete in Carpentry. Johnathan Ricardo and James Pinnix will be competing in the Masonry division.

The CCCTC Culinary Arts and Construction students visited the Choctaw Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. The students assisted the residents in decorating Christmas ornaments and cookies.
Mrs. Johnson invited Mr. O'Bryant with MORA to speak to Mrs. Hammons' and Mr. Johnson's classes. He talked to the students about the different types of organ and tissue donations as well as the different careers and how to set themselves apart from everyone else.
