Culinary Arts I students made dishes featuring fruits. Students prepared a fresh fruit tart, poached pears with chocolate sauce, and apple cobbler.

CCCTC Construction Classes toured MS State construction class with Mrs. Johnson, Career Coach. MS State also treated the students to Fresh Foods for lunch. Mrs. Johnson treated the students to ice cream from the MAFES store to end the day. Thank you #MSState for a GREAT day!

Culinary Arts II students wrapped up their sandwich unit with the classics “open faced” sandwich, pizza!

Culinary Arts I students experimented with various cooking techniques in their vegetable unit…vegetables may not be their top pick but after cooking them different ways, they learned that they really do enjoy more vegetables than they realize!

FORGE Interview Day was a huge success!! Thirteen students from Culinary, Construction, and Healthcare and Clinical Services, attended the event with Mrs. McGlothin (CTE School Counselor), Mrs. Johnson (Career Coach), and Mr. Black (Construction Instructor).

Mike Still, Haley Holland, and Thomas Hall from Sly Manufacturing met with Mr. Berry and Mrs. Johnson to assist in arc welding checkoffs. They also worked with students on ideas for a tractor project.
