The Ag Power and Machinery class was asked to make a technical drawing of a metal dustpan. The drawing was required to include welding symbols, a top view with overall dimensions and individual components with exact dimensions. Students were then required to fabricate the dustpan using their drawing only. A portion of the assessment was based on the quality of the technical drawing and the fabricated dustpan matching the specs of the drawing.
