Our Sports Medicine and Healthcare and Clinical Services students participated in an amazing opportunity to tour the MS Forensics Laboratory (aka Crime-lab) in Pearl, MS. The students discovered what the many different careers in the field of Forensic Science looked like in real life. They met and spoke with analysts, specialists, and agents from every section of the crime lab: Evidence, Firearms, Bioscience, Toxicology, Drugs, Implied Consent, Trace, Latent Prints, Digital Evidence, the Medical Examiner’s Office, and the Crime Scene Investigation Unit. A Big thanks to all the professionals at the MS Forensics Laboratory for sharing with our students about what they do on a daily basis.
