Mr. Vance had the opportunity to speak at the American Legion meeting on January 13. He was able to share with the group information about every program that CCCTC has to offer as well as the services on campus for students including CTE Counselor and Student Services Coordinator. Those attending the meeting were able to browse through pictures of students as they get hands on learning experiences, paving the way for them to gain many beneficial skills and a variety of national certifications before they graduate high school. Another topic highlighted was the important grants that CCCTC has been awarded recently allowing for new equipment and training to be offered to students. Finally, he told about partnerships we have with Holmes Community College as well as local businesses allowing additional training opportunities to be available to our entire community through different night classes. It was a privilege for Mr. Vance to have this opportunity and experience the company of Ackerman's own members of military service.
