Mariah was nominated by her Health and Clinical Science teacher, Mrs. Kristen Hunt, who describes her as an absolute joy to have in class. Mariah comes in each day with a smile on her face, is always on time, completes all her assignments, and goes above and beyond to help her classmates.
With her outgoing personality and strong work ethic, Mariah sets a wonderful example for her peers. We are proud to celebrate her achievements and highlight the positive impact she makes in the classroom each day. 💙

Thank you to Todd Mitchell and Pafford EMS crews for coming to speak to Health Science, Healthcare and Clinical Services, and Sports Medicine students today. Students learned how they can become an EMS driver, EMT, or Paramedic and got to take a tour of the ambulance.
Choctaw County Speech Teachers enjoyed attending and learning new techniques and strategies at the Mississippi conference.

Thanks so much to Aaron Stovall at Dry Bottom Farms and Nursery for welcoming the CCCTC Culinary Arts Students. We learned about herbs. How to plant seeds, plants, and how to care for them. Not to mention he allowed us to enjoy his sweet farm animals and pick flowers in his beautiful zinnia field.

Kelsey was nominated by her Sports Medicine Instructor, Bill Johnson.
Kelsey is an excellent student with a 100 average, demonstrating a strong understanding of class content. Not only in academics, she demonstrates remarkable productivity, while completing most of her assignments ahead of schedule with meticulous attention to detail. She approaches every class activity with a positive attitude.
She is an excellent role model for her classmates. Always punctual and adheres to school rules. She is actively involved in extracurricular activities including HOSA, choir, and chamber singers.

Ms. Dena Kelly, Volunteer Coordinator with Gentiva Hospice, came to speak to all Health Science and Sports Medicine students today about hospice care and the opportunity to volunteer. Students got the chance to make cards for hospice patients today as well.
