Green Day Wednesday for Dr. Seuss Week!


Pre-k students got to enjoy listening to Mr. Stoney and Office Miller read silly Dr. Seuss books in the library at WES.


Bartholomew and the Oobleck by Dr. Seuss was an intriguing book to read during Dr. Seuss week. The Weir PACE students enjoyed forming hypothesis on if Oobleck is a solid or a liquid.


Kindergarten students at WES thoroughly enjoyed Mr. Ballard reading, Mr. Brown Can Moo! Can You?


Fox in Socks!
Ms. Rush and Mrs. White's kindergarten class enjoyed "Fox in Socks" day! They decorated their silly socks to match the ones they wore to school.

Ms. Rush and Mrs. White's kindergarten class had fun celebrating Day 1 of all the Dr. Seuss fun. Today, we wore our class shirts and had Truffala Tree cupcakes on the playground.

Ms. Conerly’s and Ms. Fairley’s Kindergarteners at WES read Dr. Seuss’ “Horton Hears A Who” and made Horton.



Due to the possibility of severe weather tomorrow evening, Choctaw County School District will be dismissed early Mar. 4th to ensure vehicles have delivered all students and are off the roadways. Weir elementary car rider line will begin at 1 pm and Bus line will be at 1:10

Dr. Seuss Week kicks off today and we are starting it in style! Rocking our favorite Dr. Seuss shirts to celebrate the magic of reading.
