Happy School Principal’s Day to the leader who guides with heart, inspires with vision, and serves with dedication every single day. Your impact reaches far beyond the classroom walls! We at Weir Elementary School are very grateful for you, Ms. Denson!

Kingston enjoyed sharing his favorite animals in the Everglades National Park with his family and friends. His love for animals was evident as he talked about each of the 25 animals that can be found in his park. In class, Kingston is known as the animal expert. After his research, he was able to make an alligator mask for his 3D project. This is a huge accomplishment Kingston!

Tyrez, who is a student in Ms. Kylie's PACE class at Weir Elementary School chose the Rocky Mountain National Park for his end of the year presentation. He was able to research different activities in the park such as hiking, camping, swimming, and biking. Then, Tyrez was able to mold a representation of the Rocky Mountains using clay. Nice work Tyrez!

WES PACE student, DJ decided to research the Kenai Fjord National Park for his research project. He was eager to share with the audience of friends and family that over 51% of his park is covered in ice! He has plans to one day visit this park to see it for himself. Bravo DJ!

Weir Elementary School PACE student, Cameron, chose to investigate Yellowstone National Park. He researched the parks acreage, animals, plants, and historical facts. Then he made a 2-dimentional and 3-dimentional representation. Finally, he presented his findings to his classmates, teachers, and members of his family. Way to go Cam!

Xander, Weir Elementary School PACE student, chose Death Valley as the topic of his research project. He made a slideshow to highlight unique facts about the park. Next, he made a 2D and 3D representation. Finally, he presented his project to his teachers, classmates, and family members. Job well done, Xander!

Weir 1st and 2nd grade boys got to test out the small catapult launchers at the dinosaur party. They had a lot of fun figuring out how to launch the bean bags. After they figured it out, they wanted to see who could make their bean bag fly the longest distance (Math and Science). #WeirExcellenceShines
